Redesigned Softail Frame

The Sport Glide is part of the Softail line so you’ll get the best features from this motorcycle family. Most motorcycle enthusiasts know Softail bikes are famous for their unique style and stellar performance, relying on the distinctive Softail hidden monoshock rear suspension for cleaner lines and better handling. The Sport Glide gets all this and adds just a few extra perks. It comes with a 34% stiffer frame and an overall lighter weight. This means you’ll have total control over a more responsive bike, even around the tightest turns. And even though it’s part of the lightweight class of Softail bikes, the Sport Glide’s high performance suspension makes it possible for you to bring along all your extra luggage for longer trips and not mess with the quality of your ride.

Milwaukee-Eight Engine

Brand new year, brand new bike, brand new engine. The Sport Glide comes standard with the all-new Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine, the latest engineering feat from Harley-Davidson packed with over a century of building and riding experience. This engine gives you massive torque to match the faster 0-60 mph and 60-80 mph. And even though you’ll have all the power, you won’t have nearly as much vibration because the Milwaukee-Eight 107 is completely counterbalanced. It’s also built with a sleeker profile to fit perfectly in the slim chassis of the Sport Glide.

Touring Ready

All that power and all that performance mean the Sport Glide is primed to switch from cruising to touring on a dime. The lighter, more agile frame makes it easier to travel long distances and ideal for touring. The Sport Glide also comes standard with mini-fairing to deflect the strong headwinds that would normally exhaust you after a long day of traveling. The low-vibration Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine smooths out your ride from start to finish. To store all your extra luggage, you’ll also get hard-side locking saddlebags. Need to shed a few pounds to make cruising easier? Start with the easily removable saddlebags and mini-fairing to make the switch quickly when you need to. Technology with Style

Finally, what would a brand new bike be without brand new toys and a brand new look?
